EMT/Garbage Truck/Lawrence Bros.

I'm so behind on posting pictures so sorry!! Stick with me and I will try to catch up!!!

Community Helpers!  

In this unit we learn about and visit many places in our community!  We learn what makes them a community helper and how we can become them when we grow up! The kids have a blast and I think the community does also!

The Baylor County EMTs came to visit!! 

 Slade demonstrated for us!!

 Aaron demonstrated for us!

 Mrs. Hostas was a good sport also!!

 Then we got to check out the ambulance!  Medic John told us all about what is inside the ambulance!

Next was one of our favorites!! Knox Waste!! Mr Don showed us how the truck dumps the big dumpsters and talked about safety and the garbage truck!

We had a great time checking out Lawrence Bros.  Everyone had been there before but we talked about where the food came from and we saw the back room and freezers and we TRIED not to touch anything!!!

 They gave us apples for the road!!
